Bird is the word challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the Bird is the word Journey challenge. For this challenge, you simply use the word "Journey" in either the title or your journaling....fun!

For this lo, I used some of my favorite embellies...yup, that nice white "frame", behind the pic, is what's left over from my Imaginarium designs chipboard tinie frames, and that yellow/pearl "My Minds Eye" - Stella and Rose - brad is from one of my wonderful Pixie dust paperie scrapbook kits.

It's Visual

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did about my daydreams/thoughts that I was going through during my recovery period from my surgery. Since it had been months that I had not driven my car, I would visualize driving, I would also visualize other things that I could not do like going back to work, lifting things/objects, doing exercise, or going shopping....all the everyday things that we take for granted, until it's gone. Yes, after 11 weeks, I can now drive my car....yippee! Yes, I am back at work...and was able to drive myself...yippee! Yes, I can window shop...yippee! And yes, I can lift things, that are 10 lbs. or less....and you betcha that I'm looking forward to getting back to my old self where I can lift more and get back to exercising! Yes, I have wonderful things to look forward to!

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share the lastest Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge with you. Yup, the Feb 15th challenge is up and this time we would like you to follow the sketch created by Anne, the very sweet creator and owner of AFSC, and Scrap a memory of you in Scouting or Girl Guides (brownies, Sparks, Guides, etc.) or a memory of a group you belonged to when you were a child or teen. You may include a momento or journal a memory of what belonging meant to you. For me I used a printout of some Brownie girls together along with a pic of me sitting with them to represent "brownie girl talk/fun".

Berry 71 Bleu guest designer!

Hi everyone! Yippee! I am so honored to be a guest designer for Berry 71 Bleu! Yes, when Marivic contacted me and ask me to be a guest designer I was thrilled! I had won one of her tags and I knew how stunning they were...I could hardly wait to get my hands on another one!
A couple of days ago I told you about the awesome challenge that's going on now, over there, and today I get to show you a lo that I did with one of Marivic's gorgeous tags! These tags are so much better looking in person...absolutely breathtaking. So, if you haven't seen these before, you really must go to the Berry 71 Bleu site and check them out. Berry 71 Bleu challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to tell you about a wonderful challenge that's going on at Berry 71 Bleu right now! Yup, that's right, that lovely "homemade tag site", by Marivic, has another wonderful challenge for everyone to play with. This time, the theme is "In the mood for love"....how perfect for the month of February! The challenge has been set by the DT member Aymee Gandy. Here's what Aymee has said about the challenge:
February is the month of love! It's the time to snuggle up with your sweetie and share decadent chocolate treats as you romance the night away. This love filled month can provide ample inspiration for your crafting projects. Take a moment to look around you as Cupid spears your heart with his arrow and take note of all of the Valentine's decor'. Let all this lovey dovey art inspire you. For the challenge, we want to see a project centered around love. Your project can be a layout, card, altered art, home decor', etc. Your project must include the color 'pink' and at least one of the following: lace, buttons, bling, and/or glitter. Hi Everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the February Scrap for Help challenge. This month the challenge is to do a project using muslin or a surgical bandage for your recyled item.

For this challenge we'd like to see a momento from that time with them, or a downloaded image, or something from that era from the internet if you wish. A pop or movie star crush can be substituted for a real live crush if you are too shy to tell us how it really was! For me, for as long as I can remember, my first thoughts of the type of love that I would want would be someone like my father.....a handsome man that was lovingly perfect!

OUAS teams up with Get Creative for February!

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've scrapped, due to my surgery. I am slowly working my way back now and would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported me during this difficult time! Today I'd like to start my entries again by telling you what we are up to at Once Upon a Sketch .
Yup, we are nearing the end of our first year, at OUAS, and during this time we have noticed a huge amount of support from many countries around the world and we are incredibly lucky that our challenges are supported by so many people from all different parts of the globe. One of these countries is Greece, and we have come to realize that we receive many entries from such a small country where scrapbooking is so new, so we had a thought and decided to team up with another challenge blog based in Greece, and run by our very own, Irini Liolia called Get Creative. How exciting!! We have decided to become "sister" blogs, because let's face it...most of us scrapping are women and is there anything stronger than a sisterhood? So for this month only, the Design Team from Once Upon A..Sketch are guests over at Get Creative and taking part in their 1st and 15th of the month challenges and the Design Team from Get Creative are guests on Once Upon A..Sketch! Thus a new bond is formed between 2 challenge blogs.

Pixie ~ Paris lo

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another lo, that I did before my surgery, with the Pixie dust paperie Christmas in Paris kit.
For this lo I embossed some of the pp and then added it to some of the other gorgeous pp. Then I added an image of a retro lady, that I had from a pattern, to emulate a woman dreaming of going to Paris. I coupled this with a pic of my daughter along with journaling about her going to Paris...such a lucky gal!

This kit is wonderful to put together your actual moments as well as your dreams!

Pixie ~ You are my sunshine lo

Hi everyone! I'd like to share another lo, that I did before my surgery, with the Pixie dust paperie Christmas in Paris kit.
For this lo, I took one of the gorgeous Prima papers, added some paint to it, then I put one of the Glitz 'Whatnot' "you are my sunshine" cards on that along with a pic of my ipod, a circle cut from another gorgeous pp in the kit and then stamped it with a woman stamp that I had. After that I cut it into a star shape and sewed that onto this festive red background paper. To top it of I added a butterfly and a metal star from the Tim Holtz adornments package, which is in the kit.

Just think of what shape you could come up with!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another lo that I did, before my surgery, with the gorgeous Pixie dust paperie Christmas in Paris kit. One of my favorite holidays is Christmas so I decided to make a Christmas lo. For this lo I took several of the pp's, in the kit, and cut them into shapes to try to make a festive scene. I added a little paint, a number (No.) stamp, and some glitz alphas to top it off. You can see from the lo, that these papers could also be used for any type of everyday lo. How wonderful is that!

Pixie ~ Sisters lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another lo that I did, before my surgery, with the gorgeous Pixie dust paperie Christmas in Paris kit! For this lo, I put a little gesso on the beautiful romantic paper, added a stamp behind the pic and then added some of the other gorgeous paper, from the kit, along with the lovely crinkled ribbon and then topped it off with a sprinkle of ink.

I also want to share a card that I received from Kirsty, the lovely creator and owner, of Pixie dust paperie.

Isn't this just beautiful!!! Yes, she made it from the Christmas in Paris kit. I must say the pic doesn't do justice to this beautiful card, which brought tears to my eyes when I received it...thank you once again Kirsty...you're always so thoughtful!

Pixie lo's!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a couple of lo's that I did with the Pixie dust paperie Christmas in Paris kit. Love this kit...wonderful papers and embellies! The first lo is hubby and I on Christmas with our little pup pup. What wonderful, yummy papers for the holiday memories...don't you think! The second lo is me when I was a little tyke. For this lo, I used one of the Glitz 'whatnot' cards that comes in the kit. A full pkg. of cards come in the kit, but this one really just called out childhood memories so I kept it simple and let the card work for me on this lo. Also, on this lo, is some bling and a Tim Holtz crown...yup a full pkg. of each is also in this huge kit!

Lessology ~ Guest Designer! Yippee!

Hi everyone! I am just tickled pink to share this post with you today. Yippee!!! I am a guest designer for the awesome upcycle Lessology site! What an honor! All of you that know me, know how much I love playing along with their wonderful challenges! Yes...I'm all for recycling and that's what their challenges are about...recycle, recycle, recycle! Yeah! For this challenge, "You've got mail", you create something with this prompt "There's no reason why you shouldn't make the outside of your mail as pretty as the contents inside". Yes! Use your imagination! Don't forget to include at least one upcycled item in your creation!

For this challenge I decided to take a Priority mailing box, that I received in the mail, and pretty it up to send it back out as a gift to my sister at Christmas time.

I took the box, painted it with a sand color paint then when that was dry, I put on a thin coat of modeling paste, so that the scene would be pressed into it, so that when I mailed it nothing would be torn off the package. I then glazed over the entire scene with mod podge to seal everything. (please note, I left the back and left/right sides in it's original form for mailing purposes. The front and top/bottom side is painted).

Since I'm sending the box, I needed to put something in it so I created a mail holder:

I thought that this would be a pretty way to store received mail until you're ready to go through it. Once again, I took another priority box, that I had received in the mail, opened it up and then cut it into the shape and length that could hold mail. Then I added some paint, sewed it, decorated it, put a button on the front for a closure, and added ribbon to hang it. Inside is something special...I took a birthday card that she sent to me, with a kitty on it, cut it and sewed it to the holder...she will love this because she's such a cat lover and it's a form of sharing an image that we both love!

Hi everyone! Yippee! It's live! Yup, our Dec. 1st challenge at OUAS is up! For this challenge, you simply use the wonderful sketch, by Nadia, the awesome creator and owner of our site, and follow the journaling criteria.

The journaling criteria is: The thing I look most forward to in December.

Write at least 2 sentences on what you look forward to in the next month. December is a festive month so your journalling could be about the Christmas season, the holidays, the presents or if you do not celebrate Christmas what does December bring for you that you look most forward to? Note: Your layout DOES NOT have to be about Christmas! It can be about anything December brings.

Hi everyone! I wanted to thank you for all the prayers, comments, and thoughts for my recovery while I was in the hospital. I am back home now and will need some time to recover from surgery so I will not be entering in any new challenges at this time. I do however, have a lot of lo's/projects that I will be able to share with you until I'm back on my feet in full force again. Time Off

Hi everyone - I am John, Sandi's husband. Sandi wanted me to let you know she will not be able to look at blogs or comment on your wonderful work. Unfortunately, she has undergone emergency surgery. Sandi will be in the hospital all this week. We hope she is home by Monday Nov 28. The recovery period is very lengthy, likely 6-8 weeks. Hi everyone! Today I'd like to show you a lo of my dd's that I did with the Pixie dust paperie Pink Rose Cottage kit. I've got to say that this kit is one of my favorite's. There are so many easy to work with papers and embellies in it that the only difficult thing about it is deciding what pic you won't be able to use on any given paper...honestly, I had so many ideas that I could use for each one! I just love that...no waste!!! For this lo I used almost all embellies...so easy, fun, and quick!

Yup! Even that pretty spread of flowers to the rt. of the pic is a sticker...no fussy cutting...yeah!!!

Lessology Jars of cuteness challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a jar that I made for the Lessology jars of cuteness jar challenge. My husband and my wedding aniversary is coming up in a few days so I thought it would be sweet to make this jar of us, at our wedding, to give to him. It's hard to see because of the glass glare, but there is a picture of us in the jar at the wedding table where the photographer caught a pic of me telling him that "I love him". For my recyled item, I attached our pic to a wire and then stuck it into a wine cork, from a bottle of wine, that we recently had. I used a Classico Alfredo jar because it has an embossed finish on it that I thought would really add character to this project.

Pixie ~ All hearts that are loved....

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did with the Pixie dust paperie Pink Rose Cottage kit. For this lo, I wanted to create something that would show the love that my children have for one another and my hubby and I so I decided to create a home with the kiddo's in it to depict that all hearts that are loved will return home for more love. I created the house using some of the stickers, gorgeous pp, Pixie signature crinkled ribbon and one of the 'windows' from the Prima Shabby Chic treasure pkg. that's included in the kit. I added a little sewing, a splash of ink, and cut part of the cardboard from the box, that my beautiful kit came in, for the roof. So easy and fun!

For some reason, I couldn't get the bottom of this pic to come out straight, but the green border at the bottom of the lo is actually a really pretty straight sticker.

Pixie retro lo!

Hi everyone! A few days ago I showed you a retro lo that I made using the Pixie dust paperie Pink Rose Cottage kit and today I have another to show you...yup, I got two wonderful retro gals off of one piece of pp that was in the kit. I was able to put this lo of my wonderful parents together using it...so fitting for their era! I just absolutely love this kit...you really must check this one out...so easy and fun to play with!

I added one of the gorgeous Prima flower buttons, in the kit, to get the proper 'feel' to the lo. I also used a piece of the packing tissue behind the pic, a few drops of ink, and chalk to highlight near the sewing.

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my lo that I did for the Scrap for help Nov. challenge. This months we've been thinking of Christmas...such a beautiful time of year. You can do any project as long as you have something recylcled in it. For us, we followed our guest designer, Vibeke, using corregated cardboard and some clothing tags. For me, Christmas is a time of showing our loved ones just how much we love them and making our time together a special time. My lo shows hubby and I, from last Christmas, giving one another a hug. My journaling reads "of all the gifts that I could ask for...you are the greatest gift".

Once Upon A Sketch Challenge!

Hi everyone! It's live! Yup, the challenge is live and it's all about you! For our Nov. 1st challenge we would like you to use this sketch, by Nadia, the lovely creator and owner of OUAS and journal at least 2 sentences on when you started scrapbooking and why. For me, this was very exciting...a friend had shown be a small book that the teacher had done about her son, during his year of kindergarden. I was so inspired that I went right out and bought scrapping stuff to do some lo's with my children. Shortly after that one of my daughters got a scholarship to go to a ski academy, so I decided to scrap her years there. My picture is of a scrapbook that I put together for her by using one of her old ski racing outfits. This is such an important memory for us. Now, I am simply obsessed with scrapping...I just can't seem to get enough of it...it allows me to not only take pictures, but also put them together in the form of art...a true passion of mine.

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Hi everyone! It's time for another AFSC challenge! For this challenge you feature yourself, using the wonderful sketch by Anne, in costume, or a costume that you have made or inspired, incorporate the color purple somewhere in the layout, and place a surprise somewhere in the layout. If you do not celebrate Hallowe'en where you are - scrap about dress-up - either for a formal affair, or for play!!
For my lo, I did it on my dd's wearing witch outfits that I made, got lots of pretty purple, which you can see, and for my surprise....when you open the haunted house door there is a "cracker Jack" surprise inside!

Doggy bag challenge

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share some Christmas tags that I made for the Lessology challenge site doggy bag challenge. For this challenge, I used paper bags and of course recycled stuff to come up with tags that I'll use this Christmas!
The tag with the little boy has a lollypop wrapper and part of a box on it. The tag with the tree and deer on it has a dry cleaner tag and part of a box on it, and the tree is an old book page which I inked. The santa tag, has a piece of cloth that was from an old shirt that my daughter had and a piece from and old filing folder.

Hi everyone! Today I sadly share my last DT lo for SLS . Yes, Cheryl and Katie have decided to close down the site. Since I'm on the switch it up team, the team that takes the sketch and switches it up any way that I would like to give the reader extra ideas and inspiration for the main sketch, I have taken the sketch and turned it on its side, replaced the circles with stars & repositioned them, brought the title upward and moved the journaling under the photo.

Spinning round and round!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo, of my dd, that I did using the cardstock from the Sept. Pixie Dust Paperie ~ Tecolote kit. Normally I stay clear of bright papers when I scrap...they really aren't my style, but when I opened up this kit and saw all the gorgeous stuff in it, I was so thrilled that I thought I'd use this paper for something upbeat and fun. I took out my paints, drew my circles, added some sewing to it, a few ink splats, a fun pic of my dd, one of the wonderful brads in the kit and some of the sweet paper that was wrapped around the ribbon so nicely by Kirsty...yup, I like to use everything!

I am so delighted to say that the new kit has been revealed and it looks GORGEOUS! Yup, more cardstock along with pp's and embellies that are simply beautiful...I need this kit too!

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Hi everyone! The latest challenge is up at AFSC ! This challenge is a prompt challenge about your school days. Since I don't have a lot of pics of me as a child, I opted to do a page on our youngest daughter. To play along, in this fun challenge, simply - scrap your school days – your own school days incorporating three of: a photo of you back in the day, or a momento from those years , perhaps: a song title, lyrics or album cover from that era, your favourite school subject, or a page from one of your texts, diaries or notebooks , a scan or your yearbook – whatever is representative of your school days. Maybe you could include a memory of those days in your blog posting. We'd prefer if you scrap your own school days - as we like to encourage our followers to scrap about themselves to leave a legacy for their family - but you can scrap your children's school days if you prefer.

Altered trinket box challenge

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share an altered trinket box that I made for the latest challenge at the Lessology challenge site. I altered this box to put some antique sewing goodies in. On the top of it I have a ladyform, cut out of cardboard (that I had from the bottom of a case of bottled water), a flower that I made, a piece of old book paper, burlap, linen, paper butterfly, doily, and ribbon. To cover the box, I put a light coat of paint followed by some tissue, that I received as packing material in a box, and then old tissue pattern paper. For the closure, I used a Tim Holtz knob, secured with floss. Hope you like it!

Can you guess what kind of box I altered?

Yup! You guessed it..........

The toothpaste box that didn't have to go into the landfill...that you Lessology for such a wonderful challenge!

Hi everyone! Do you like to get mail? I'm talking about the kind that comes in the form of packages! I love getting mail especially when it's scrapbooking supplies. When I received my Pixie Dust kit in the mail, to play with as a guest designer for the month of Sept., I had no idea that it would be filled to the brim with such gorgeous goodies! After opening it, I thought...I really need to use some of the contents to scrap a page on it. Yes, I love scrapping the everyday, the things that have meaning to me and this is one of those moments!

Pixie Dust Me lo

Hi everyone! I'm back with another lo that I made from the gorgeous Tecolote kit from Pixie Dust Paperie .Yup! This is a pic of me as a baby. When I saw the beautiful angelic paper and crinkled ribbon in the kit, I knew I would have to do some sort of baby lo and this is what I came up with. I cut out the sweet angels, draped the gorgeous ribbon, a little more paper, more embellies and voila`!

Altered book challenge

Hi everyone! There's a new challenge site in town called LESSology where they give you challenges in which you use something 'recyled up'. Their first challenge is an altered book challenge. When I saw this I just loved the idea. For my book, I purchased an old book and then I started to fill it with random stuff about me and or that I like. I decided to stick to a certain color choice because it's what I like creating with at the moment. On my first page, about drinking coffee, I used the coffee filter that I had that morning, as one of my upcycled items, rather then throwing it out. Hope you like!

Something Exotic!!!

Hi everyone! It's time for something exotic at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge! You might be saying 'something exotic'? Yup, we are challenging you to scrap something exotic for this sketch, by Anne, the sweet creator and owner of AFSC - it can be an animal at the zoo, a dancer, a food item, a location, a photo or souvenir from a trip - how about exotic you!!! You can make a card, a layout or an altered (off the page) item. How fun is that!?!?!!! For me, I scrapped a pic of an advertisement pic for Juicy Couture that my dd had hanging in her room. Isn't the pic gorgeously wild! I thought this would be perfect for challenge. This is the first time I've used 'modeling paste'. I really like the look of the texture of it on a lo.

Once Upon a Sketch Challenge with a twist!

Hi everyone! It's that time again! Yup, the new sketch is live...but this time there is a twist!

What's the twist?

We thought it would be fun for you all out there to pick the winner! Pixie Dust - Fall Harvest project

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my Fall harvest project that I made with the gorgeous Pixie Dust Paperie Tecolote kit. The minute I saw this paper, by Prima Marketing, I knew I wanted to make a pumpkin from it. The beautiful flowers hanging on it are from the same piece of pp. To make this, I cut out a pumpkin shape, sewed it, leaving an opening at the top, to turn the paper rt. side out. To stuff it, I used the packaging tissue that was used in the kit to ship it and a stick, from my yard for the top! I then closed the opening by hand sewing and a little hot glue. Next I added the burlap, key embellie, that beautiful ribbon, and a butterfly that I punched out of one of the other gorgeous papers from the kit.

Sassy Lil' Sketches - Switch it up lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share this lo that I did, of hubby and I, for the wonderful Sassy Lil' Sketches challenge site. Since I'm on the 'Switch it up' DT, I get to take the wonderful sketch, by Cherie, and switch it up anyway that I want...yup, I get to flip, rotate, use a different number or orientation of pics, make it a 2 pager, or anything else that I can think of that shows the readers how to stretch the use of the sketches...how fun is that!

For this challenge, I moved the two strips of paper to the side, took the paper behind the pics and split it to go under my pics which I seperated. I then moved the banner up, and moved the title to the side and voila' a new look.

Rosebud & Hello lo's

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share two more lo's I made with the gorgeous Tecolote kit from Pixie Dust Paperie! In this first one I cut out a pic of my dd and put it on a mix of papers from the kit, added the tape that came from part of the packaging, some paint, and the word 'rosebud' from one of the papers to represent that red had that I made for her.

In the second lo I cut out flowers from the pretty floral pp as well as some of the other gorgeous papers, and then added some of the signature Pixie crinkled ribbon, to put together this lo of my dd.

One of the great thing about this Tecolote kit is the diversity of the papers. The spectrum goes from cute/pretty to a romantic/gorgeous, so you're able to put together a wide range of projects. Hi everyone! It's time to share another lo that I made from the gorgeous Pixie Dust Paperie Tecolote Kit! This lo is of my dd and niece. I really love the pp in this kit...just awesome! For this lo, I cut out the flowered pp, a butterfly and the printed word Jubilee along with 'the girls paperie' signature and clustered it along with the green & white Bakers twine. This was just so easy to put together because everything in the kit matches...easy and fun! Yippee!

Hi everyone! My heart, my prayers, and my thoughts go out to all those effected by the hurricane Irene that just came through. At the same time I thank God that there was not more damage where we are. I thank God that by the time it got to us, it was a tropical storm...a very scary one at that. We have been through a lot lately...tornados, which took the life of someone that I worked with, then this week the earthquake, which thank God only felt like I was having vertigo, and the lastest stress of Irene...thank you God that it is not more then what it was.......BUT.....to all the people who it is more then this, to all the people who don't have power, or their house, or worse I ask that all my followers and people just stopping by, please pray for these people. Pray that God gives them peace and a spirit to rebuild their lifes!

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share a mini book that I made of my dd for the Pixie Dust Paperie August challenge. This month the challenge is to make something which includes an image of a girl/lady on it. I took a paper bag, cut it up and put together an accorion style book with random shots/events pertaining to my youngest dd. The cover has a tag with strings, which I wrap around the brad on the back cover to hold it together.

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a couple of lo's that I did for TCR and CCG. I really enjoy these two challenge sites...love playing with colors. The DT's and guests really do a great job with the colors. So much inspiration! I also wanted to say that I purchased that cool looking crown, fabulous doillie flowers, and ribbon from the Pixie Dust Paperie Store that are on the TCR lo and the glimmer mist on the CCG lo. Sassy Lil' Sketches - first DT lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share this lo that I did, of my hubby and dd ,for my first DT lo for the wonderful Sassy Lil' Sketches challenge site. Since I'm on the 'Switch it up team', I get to take the wonderful sketch, by Cherie, and switch it up anyway that I want...yup, I get to flip, rotate, use a different number or orientation of pics, make it a 2 pager, or anything else that I can think of that shows the readers how to stretch the use of the sketches...how fun is that!

For this challenge, I turned the sketch, used one pic, moved a square behind it, took the banner from the side and moved it out in the shape of a flower cluster, and then moved the journaling block downward. Thank you for this wonderful honor Katie and Cherie...I had a blast with this!

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful day...a day filled with happiness and a little bit of scrapping if you can!

Today I wanted to share this lo that I did of my hubby for the Scrapbookers anonymous challenge. This month, the challenge is to use a color from your stash that is building up or one that is hard to use.

For me that color is this bright green! I've had it for a while and have not used it due to it's brightness....it's just not for me. I have pondered this challenge for a while and decided that I would use it and try to do something cheerful or upbeat...bold. I came up with this one of my hubby!

We were re-doing the cellar wall and on this day he got really dirty and sweaty...I didn't care, I took a pic of him in front of our new wall (a little dark because it's from the cellar). I then decided that this pic would go good with a dry cleaner's slip that I had from some items of his that I had dry cleaned, a little paint to represent the painting...put it all together and volla' brite, bold paper taking on a whole new look!

Cartwheel flop!

Hi everyone. I wanted to share with you this lo of me that I did for the Color Combos Galore challenge this week.

Yup, that's me doing a cartwheel...flop!

I don't know, they seemed to have flowed a lot better when I was a kid! Heeeeheeeeeee!

This week's challenge is to use the colors dreamy creamy aqua, whipped cream, strawberry cream, and hot fudge. The designer's challenge is to create something that includes polka dots, metal, leaves, 3 circles, and fabric. The metal is in the top section above the 'me' circle and the leaves are the tiny ones on the doodling I did in the upper left...I think the rest of the criteria is easy to see.

What a fun challenge. The DT did an exquisite job this week with this challenge...you should stop over and give it a try!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this lo that I did of our dd for this weeks Color Combos Galore Challenge. This weeks colors are creamsicle...yum!, Vanilla, cool blue, and ice blue. The challenge is to use dripping as a technique. You really should stop over and see what the DT has come up with...awesome lo's and cards!
