Valentine's Blog Hop at another Freaking scrappy challenge!

Hi everyone!  Yesterday I told you that Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge was going to have a blog hop and that the details would be coming....well here they are! For this blog hop, you go to each blog on the hop, collect a "clue word", leave a comment on their blog, and then, after you've collected all the words, you e-mail (using "Valentine Blog Hop" in your subject line) your clues to Anne, the sweet creator and owner of AFSC! It's that simple. And you can have more then one chance to win: complete the blog hop, and playing with either or both of this month's challenges can get you more chances. What will you get? You will get an awesome Valentine's prize pack from AFSC!!!

Berry 71 Bleu guest designer!

Hi everyone! Yippee! I am so honored to be a guest designer for Berry 71 Bleu! Yes, when Marivic contacted me and ask me to be a guest designer I was thrilled! I had won one of her tags and I knew how stunning they were...I could hardly wait to get my hands on another one!
A couple of days ago I told you about the awesome challenge that's going on now, over there, and today I get to show you a lo that I did with one of Marivic's gorgeous tags! These tags are so much better looking in person...absolutely breathtaking. So, if you haven't seen these before, you really must go to the Berry 71 Bleu site and check them out. The DT has created so many beautiful projects with them.  Marivic also has an Etsy shop that you can browse through...so worth it!

Berry 71 Bleu challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to tell you about a wonderful challenge that's going on at Berry 71 Bleu right now! Yup,  that's right, that lovely "homemade tag site", by Marivic, has another wonderful challenge for everyone to play with. This time, the theme is "In the mood for love"....how perfect for the month of February! The challenge has been set by the DT member Aymee Gandy. Here's what Aymee has said about the challenge:
 February is the month of love! It's the time to snuggle up with your sweetie and share decadent chocolate treats as you romance the night away. This love filled month can provide ample inspiration for your crafting projects. Take a moment to look around you as Cupid spears your heart with his arrow and take note of all of the Valentine's decor'. Let all this lovey dovey art inspire you. For the challenge, we want to see a project centered around love. Your project can be a layout, card, altered art, home decor', etc. Your project must include the color 'pink' and at least one of the following: lace, buttons, bling, and/or glitter. Make us fall head over heels in love with your artwork! Hugs & Kisses! XOXO!

Scrap for Help Challenge!

Hi Everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the February  Scrap for Help challenge. This month the challenge is to do a project using  muslin or a surgical bandage for your recyled item.
You really must head on over to the site for loads of inspiration from the guest designer and other DT members!

Yup! This is hubby and I at the car races...we love going there!

For this lo, I used that awesome chipboard title "A moment in time" from Imaginarium Designs! Gosh, I just love their chipboard, which can be purchased from Seriously Scrapbooking.

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the February 1st challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge. It's all about your first love. Yup! A real boy or girl! For this challenge we'd like to see a momento from that time with them, or a downloaded image, or something from that era from the internet if you wish. A pop or movie star crush can be substituted for a real live crush if you are too shy to tell us how it really was! For me, for as long as I can remember, my first thoughts of the type of love that I would want would be someone like my father.....a handsome man that was lovingly perfect!

Someone will win something scrappy ... we'll showcase your stuff and pick someone to guest design for the next month!

OUAS teams up with Get Creative for February!

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've scrapped, due to my surgery. I am slowly working my way back now and would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported me during this difficult time! Today I'd like to start my entries again by telling you what we are up to at  Once Upon a Sketch .
Yup, we are nearing the end of our first year, at OUAS, and during this time we have noticed a huge amount of support from many countries around the world and we are incredibly lucky that our challenges are supported by so many people from all different parts of the globe. One of these countries is Greece, and we have come to realize that we receive many entries from such a small country where scrapbooking is so new, so we had a thought and decided to team up with another challenge blog based in Greece, and run by our very own, Irini Liolia called Get Creative. How exciting!! We have decided to become "sister" blogs, because let's face it...most of us scrapping are women and is there anything stronger than a sisterhood? So for this month only, the Design Team from Once Upon A..Sketch are guests over at Get Creative and taking part in their 1st and 15th of the month challenges and the Design Team from Get Creative are guests on Once Upon A..Sketch! Thus a new bond is formed between 2 challenge blogs.
