Paperdvizhnik shape challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a project that I made for the latest Paperdvizhnik shape challenge. For this challenge they would like you to make something which is a shape other then the normal square or rectangle. What a fun challenge! Since I love coffee/tea, I thought I would make a project using a coffee filter. I think I will sew many of these together to form a mini book and have pages with pics of this theme.

Mixed media fun!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a book that I put together using The Paper Bakery March Mixed media kit. Wow! Love this kit. And this month The Paper Bakery is teaming up with Elle's Studio so I was able to play along with some amazing Elle Studio products. Fun, fun, fun! You're going to want to visit The Paper Bakery and Elle's Studio both on their blogs and facebook....we have a lot of fun things planned for you!

I started playing with the book, in the kit, by decorating the cover using the pages from the book, the gold metallic rub, gesso, Elle's tags, and Glimmer glaze, included in the kit. From there I started to play with the pages.

Here are some of the pages that I created. Some of the pages were decorated with this month's color mediums only and some I added past mm color mediums.

This page was decorated with the color mediums in the March mm kit only. Love the cream metallic rub and very cool glimmer glaze which goes on with a tiny brush, like nail polish.

I did this page as a celebration of the Paper Bakery & Elle's Studio team-up. The graphics for the Paper Bakery is a cupcake. I went with that and added the special flair button that was made up for the team-up. I also added some of the washi tape from the March scrapping kit.

For this page, I followed the Elle's Thursday sketch. All of you that know me, know I love my tea/coffee, so I thought this would be perfect to have a page in the book about this. Once again, I used a special flair button (which can be found in the Paper Bakery shop), the true happiness Elle stamp, Elle pp (morning, afternoon, evening), the tag, wooden veneer, alphas, and red glimmer mist from both the PB scrapping and mm kit.

I invite you to join in the fun....be sure to head on over to the Paper Bakery facebook page for giveaways. Head on over to Elle's and try out the sketch.

And for those of you that don't know, The Paper Bakery gives all subscribers free prt'd/cut files each month by alternating them. So now is a great time to take a peek at all that TPB has to offer!

Be sure to also stop by Elle's to see all that is being offered there....so many fun papers and goodies to go with them!

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hugs!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I made with The Paper Bakery February "Days of the week" scrapping kit. Love this fun kit which is absolutely loaded with all kinds of neat embellies and pattern papers that are sure to please everyones palette!

If you would like to take a peek at the kits, Sarah has put together a fabulous project, scrapping, and mixed media kit, which you can see in the PB shop.
