Thank you my heavenly father....

Hi everyone! My heart, my prayers, and my thoughts go out to all those effected by the hurricane Irene that just came through. At the same time I thank God that there was not more damage where we are. I thank God that by the time it got to us, it was a tropical storm...a very scary one at that. We have been through a lot lately...tornados, which took the life of someone that I worked with, then this week the earthquake, which thank God only felt like I was having vertigo, and the lastest stress of Irene...thank you God that it is not more then what it was.......BUT.....to all the people who it is more then this, to all the people who don't have power, or their house, or worse I ask that all my followers and people just stopping by, please pray for these people. Pray that God gives them peace and a spirit to rebuild their lifes!

Grown up!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did of my dd for the Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge site. This challenge is to use journaling spots on your lo. How fun is that! For this lo I also used some Imaginarium Designs chipboard. Love that stuff! You really should stop by both sites...you'll be glad you did! Happy scrapping! :)

Pixie August Challenge

Hi everyone! Today I would like to share a mini book that I made of my dd for the Pixie Dust Paperie August challenge. This month the challenge is to make something which includes an image of a girl/lady on it. I took a paper bag, cut it up and put together an accorion style book with random shots/events pertaining to my youngest dd. The cover has a tag with strings, which I wrap around the brad on the back cover to hold it together.

CCG and TCR Challenges

August 123 Challenge

Hi everyone. Today I wanted to share this lo that I did of my dd for the Aug. 123 Challenge site. This month the three criterias are to use the word "what", the colour "black", and multi photos.

I thought this pic of my dd laughing would be perfect for this so I cut the pic to get my photos and used some paint for color. What a fun challenge!
