Hi everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful day...a day filled with happiness and a little bit of scrapping if you can!

Today I wanted to share this lo that I did of my hubby for the Scrapbookers anonymous challenge. This month, the challenge is to use a color from your stash that is building up or one that is hard to use.

 For me that color is this bright green! I've had it for a while and have not used it due to it's brightness....it's just not for me.  I have pondered this challenge for a while and decided that I would use it and try to do something cheerful or upbeat...bold. I came up with this one of my hubby!

We were re-doing the cellar wall and on this day he got really dirty and sweaty...I didn't care, I took a pic of him in front of our new wall (a little dark because it's from the cellar). I then decided that this pic would go good with a dry cleaner's slip that I had from some items of his that I had dry cleaned, a little paint to represent the painting...put it all together and volla' brite, bold paper taking on a whole new look!

Cartwheel flop!

Hi everyone. I wanted to share with you this lo of me that I did for the Color Combos Galore challenge this week.

Yup, that's me doing a cartwheel...flop!

I don't know, they seemed to have flowed a lot better when I was a kid! Heeeeheeeeeee!

This week's challenge is to use the colors dreamy creamy aqua, whipped cream, strawberry cream, and hot fudge. The designer's challenge is to create something that includes polka dots, metal, leaves, 3 circles, and fabric. The metal is in the top section above the 'me' circle and the leaves are the tiny ones on the doodling I did in the upper left...I think the rest of the criteria is easy to see.

What a fun challenge. The DT did an exquisite job this week with this challenge...you should stop over and give it a try!

Yippee...I'm a Switch it up Sassy!!!

Hi everyone! Exciting news here...I've been accepted as a 'Switch it up Sassy' for Sassy Lil Sketches! You might be asking yourself, what is a switch it up Sassy? It's a DT member for the Saturday switch it up  reveal on that week's sketch at the wonderful Sassy Lil Sketches challenge site! Yup, that's right, I get to take the sketch, that is featured that week, and flip, rotate, use a different number or orientation of pictures, make it a double layout, or anything else that I can think of to show the readers how to use the sketch in a different way. How fun is that!!!!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this lo that I did of our dd for this weeks Color Combos Galore Challenge. This weeks colors are creamsicle...yum!, Vanilla, cool blue, and ice blue. The challenge is to use dripping as a technique. You really should stop over and see what the DT has come up with...awesome lo's and cards!

Once Upon A Sketch Challenge

Go... where does the time go!

I did these two lo's of my dd for the June 14th and 28th sketch at Sassy lil sketches. The first one 'go' is of my dd at a bike race and the second is a pic of her taken at school. It's hard to believe that school is already out. Where does the time go! Loved these sketches...so much fun. You really must head over there and take a peak at all the sketches!

Retro time!

Hi everyone I hope this July 4th weekend has been good for you. We have had a wonderful weekend and I even managed to put together a couple of lo's!
I did this lo for the CCG challenge. This week it's retro...love this! Anything retro or vintage is a huge love of mine!

My title says "what's your dream"? The answer, if you can just imagine the fun of this as seen in the fast car 50's movies "I'd like to buy an old car and drive around drinking soda pop with my hair blowing in the wind"! Yes, that's what I'd like...I'd be the passenger, it would be a warm, beautiful summer day, the windows would be down, the music would be playing, and my hair would be flying in the wind as I drank the soda pop that my man bought for me! Fun!  Heeeheeeee!!!!!
