Hello there!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another page that I made, in my photo book, with one of My Favorite Things stencils. Last week I shared a page using this 'stone wall' stencil in the background. Today, I used it as water, in our pool. Perfect for one of my summer pages of hubby!

Honestly, don't you think the stencil is a wonderful example of water, with it's ripples! Oh so  many wonderful uses for these stencils.....seriously, I need all of them! Lol!!!!!!!

Here's the stencil:

Live life in full color!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a page that I made using those FABULOUS stencils from My Favorite Things. Love these stencils....so high quality and fun to play with! I really think the stencils compliment the photo of my garden well.

Here's some close-ups:

I thought the yellow stencil, with it's separation lines, was perfect as a flower compliment as it mirrors the separation of various flowers. The white dots stencil reminded me of the middle of the flowers.....so without using an actual flower stencil, I was able to add an illusory look if you will.

Here are the stencils that I used:

Stencils MPD Graduated DotsStencils MPD Stone Wall

The first is the "Stone wall". Love the way that this stencil adapted so softly to what I wanted. I could also use this stencil in honor of a military lo as some type of camouflage....how wonderful would that be! The "dots" stencil is one of my favorites with soooooooooooooo many uses!
If you would like to take a peak at these fabulous stencils, you can here. Gotta warn you, MFT store has all kinds of "must haves"!!!!!!!!

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Journey Canvas!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a canvas that I made using The Paper Bakery August Mixed Media kit. What a fabulous kit this one is! Such fun items to play with!

Included in this kit is a package of cool Pinkpaislee printed coffee filters, which I used for the background and as circle embellies.

In the upper left corner is an exclusive PB stencil, which I filled in using yellow "Silks" acrylic paint, which is also included in the kit.

Here is a close-up of the filter painted circles:

Love the ease that these filters are to work with. So many applications can be used with them. Next week, I'll show you more of this kits contents and how I used them.

If you would like to take a peak at the fabulous Paper Bakery kits, custom flair, or numerous other embellie goodies, you can here.

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a page that I put together as an entry for one of my mini booklet that I made about the things in my life that I like. A day spent with you!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I made with The Paper Bakery August "Hello You" scrapping kit. Love this fabulous kit and it's colorful pattern papers and embellies. For this lo, I used the fun green background paper to capture spending time with my dd outdoors in an area that is full of greenery with bursts of color. I thought the pp's and the yellow paint, from the PB August mixed media kit, captured this wonderful day spent together perfectly.

The red squares, with the pink words, is an  AC pattern paper. Love the 'writing' on this...I thought it captured our fun day together perfectly.

The purple/blue stripe paper, behind the pic, is a pp from the PLS line. Love their sweet pp's as well....always so fun and playful. The 'date taken' tag is from a full package of October Afternoon doo-dads, which is also in the scrapping kit.

The grey 'memories' tag is also from the OA package and those triangles are cut from the OA pattern paper.

If you would like to take a peak at the amazing Paper Bakery kits, you can here. And if you are a subscriber, you get FREE cut/prt'd files, which are alternated monthly.

We'd love it if you'd play along with one of our sketch challenges so if you're going to head on over to take a peak at the monthly kits, why not take a look at the sketches.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Garden bliss!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a mini garden book that I put together using My Favorite Things flower stamp, stencil, and die cut combo. Wow, LOVE this trio combo together. This is the first time I have ever seen such a combo and mixed them together and I am really loving it! For the stencil, I used spray ink on the flower and modeling paste on the stem, which I colored. For the stamp, I inked it with a stamp pad and then for the die cuts, I cut them out, crinkled them and then sewed them on. I thought this book would be a perfect way to keep my garden pictures and notes together. I'm thinking that the pages would look awesome if I followed the theme of the stamps, stencils, and die cutting throughout the book.....maybe with some water coloring as well!

Here is a close-up of the stencil flower:

Love the raised look of the modeling paste with the inked flower and sewn on flower. I think it makes it look realistic, more 3d, if you will. Here is the awesome stencil that I used:

The next close-up shows the die cut flower, stem, and leaves:

Here's the  fabulous  die cut that I used:

And here is a close-up of the inked rose:

Love the inked rose, and so easy to stamp whatever it is that you're making!

Here's the stamp set....a real beauty!

Honestly, I am so in love with My Favorite Things stencils, stamps, and die cuts.....such high quality products and the styles to pick from are simply amazing!
