Sodalicious right or wrong challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my latest journal page that I did for the Sodalicious "right or wrong" challenge. For me, I did my page showing that there is no "right or wrong" style....it's simply a personal preference! Fun and easy challenge!

Espresso board!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share an Espresso board that I made using some fabulous Gauche Alchemy goodies!

The base of this board is made from the super cool GA ouchless cardboard. I love this stuff! I wanted the board to be bright and upbeat, so I painted it orange. Next, I decided to add some of the neat embellies from my GA mixed-media-color-kits. That cool 'quality & freshness' cap and that sweet orange butterfly are from my lady-marmalade-color-kit. Behind the cap is a part of a knapkin from the super cool napkin-art-kit. I thought it added the perfect color and texture to this project.

To make this 'pop' I added some of my all time favorite punchinella. Love this style punchinella with the LARGE circles....I mean how cool is this!

To top the project off, I decided to add some blue paint around the  outer edges, and voila, it's ready to hang.

What project are you working on? Come visit our blog for some neat ideas.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

The journey!

Hi everyone!  Today I'd like to share a little fun that us, Paperdvizhnik DT gals, have going on behind the scenes. In addition to sharing challenges, tutorials, and tid-bits of our scrapping space with all of you wonderful Paperdvizhnik fans, behind the scenes, us gals share goodies with each other and await the thrill of seeing what one of the other girls will do with it. I am so excited to show you the amazing package that Rulya  sent me and what I decided to create with it.

The goodie package:

As you can see, the package is filled with lots of pattern paper, fabulous paper strips, cool embellies, a stamp, and yummy chocolate.....which I must say, tasted great!

All of these goodies arrived in a large plastic bag, with the custom tag and postal stamps on it that looked soooooooooooo cool, that I decided to use the bag as my base.

As you can see, I painted on it, leaving sneaks of the custom slip, postal stamps, and the addresses exposed.

The strips of red paper, is from one of the pp, in the package sent to me. Under the lady image are several pieces of pp, also from the fabulous package. If you look close, near the lady's head, and to the right, you can see some wood stars and the arrow stamp from the package. The crown on the lady's head and the "word phrase strips" are also from the package.

The 'dated months' strip is more pp, and the "I don't want to forget it", is from one of the journaling strips in the package. Rulya also used the black stripped tape while packaging up my goodies, and I decided to use it as accent pieces around the bag.

Right now, I am using this bag for my current journey in life......placing goodies in it as I go along!

Hope you enjoyed this peak behind the scenes!

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Paperdvizhnik 5 shades challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the latest Paperdvizhnik "5 shades of color" challenge. For this challenge, we would like you to do a lo that has the colors white and black and then pick one other color, say red, and use 5 or more shades of that color in your lo. For me, I used the color blue.

Here's the challenge:

We would love for you to join us in this fun challenge! Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Coffee mini!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a coffee mini book that I put together using lots of goodies from Gauche Alchemy's  mixed-media-color-kits, a cut out from the GA ephemera-variety-pack, and some GA punchinella .

Here we have the cover, painted and decorated with my on hand stash of cloth, tape, stars and neat GA supplies. That cool soda top and the 'clue' piece of paper is  from the green-with-envy-mixed-media-color-kit and the burlap is from the its-all-gravy-baby mixed color kit .

Here is the cover and page two of my mini:

For page two, I once again used some paint and then decorated on top of that with that awesome guy from my GA ephemera-variety-pack and the red cloth from the scarlet-fever-mixed-media-color-kit. I love the way this guy just 'pops' right off the page!

Here is page three and four:

Once again, I used my awesome mixed media color kits for almost all the yummy goodies on these pages. The page to the right also has a napkin on the background from the very cool napkin-art-kit, glow-in-the-dark-star-punchinella and some gold sequins from the gold-sequin-color-set. Have you seen the GA sequins yet? The shop has so many wonderful colors and shapes to choose from....yes!

Do you have a mini that you've been thinking of putting together? The GA shop has everything you'll need to make your very own unique mini!

Hugs, Sandi
