CSI & OUAS Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another lo that I made for my sister's book using the Color Stories Inspiration and Once upon a sketch combo challenge for inspiration! Another wonderful challenge set by both of these gals!

the challenge:

For this challenge, I turned the sketch to it's side. Used the beautiful color combo, and for the evidence and testimony, I used newsprint, woodgrain, a bird, and the word 'together'.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Read lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I made for the Color stories inspiration and Once upon a sketch combo challenge. For this challenge I decided to use a 6 x 12 paper. I've seen this size used in the past, but never tried it. Wow, it's great! I'd like to put together a handmade book on this size for sure!

criteria:

For the evidence & testimony I used stripes, dots, a book page, doodling, circles, and the word daydream along with the fabulous sketch by Nadia, the wonderful owner of OUAS!

Zeus & Zoe mini book!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a mini book that I did using one of Marivic's, the lovely owner, of Zeus and Zoe, gorgeous tags! Isn't this tag one to just die for! Yeah! I love these! I thought the image would go nice with a garden seen so I decided to make up a mini book of my garden. The first couple of pages show a mini nook that I've created behind our garage with some plants from my other gardens, that I divided. Next year I'll add more plants and make a walk way...it'll make for a heavenly getaway spot! Yeah!

Escape lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the latest combo challenge of Color stories inspiration and Once upon a sketch. What a fun challenge! Oh it felt so good to make a lo using one of Nadia's beautiful sketches...being back in my home stomping ground! I love color challenges and combined with criteria...yeah...fun, fun, fun! Hats off to both Debbie and Nadia for putting together such a nice challenge!

the challenge and sketch:

For my lo, I used mesh, misting, and the words 'on top' for my evidence and testimony. Love the neat color scheme and choices to use in combination with the sketch on this one.

Zeus and Zoe lo!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did using one of the gorgeous tags that I got in my kit from Zeus and Zoe.  I just love Marivic's tags!

Isn't that tag beautiful! Just a reminder that this month's challenge at Z&Z has one of Marivic's tags going to one lucky winner. For more information on the challenge you can get the details here.

Lessology ~ it's a wrap!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a wrapped package that I did for the latest challenge at Lessology. Yes, Yvonne, the very sweet creator and owner of Lessology, invited me to join the  talented DT gals at Lessology for their one year anniversary event challenge....it's a wrap!
For this challenge, you have to upcyle something so I took a shopping bag, and cut it up, to make my wrapping paper. I love the old vintage style look, so I added some string and made a tag to top it off.

Yup, I left the folds in the paper...I think it adds character!

You can pop on over to see the fabulous wraps that the DT and other guests have put together. You will be absolutely amazed! And if you'd like to give it a try, you have until Sept. 30th to join in the fun!
