Once Upon a Sketch Challenge!

Hi everyone! It's up, yup the May challenge is now up at Once Upon a Sketch! This time we would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "Mum" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch.



Enjoy Scrapping is a scrapbooking and papercrafts store in Greece that has a variety of exceptional products for everyone who wants to make something unique! You can see their beautiful blog here.

Cest Magnifique is a US based Company whose kits  predominantly feature 'hard to find' international papers from Denmark, Poland, France and many other countries. They have featured embellishments from Australia, the UK, Poland and more. They strive to always be 'different' than other kit clubs. You will just love their elegant and sophisticated touch.

Imaginarium designs is a new chipboard company founded in 2010. It is the combined collaboration of a Mother and Son team who both work in the paper craft industry. They have a gorgeous blog, with lots of inspiration, that you can visit here.

Berry71Bleu is an Etsy shop owned by Marivic Clifton. Her shop specializes in custom and premade embellished hang tags, scrapbook pages, and altered gift ideas with a vintage flair. Julia Cotrim Scrapbooking is a shop that has handmade papers and fabrics (12x12) that are unique and very special. The patterned papers are textured and printed on a very thick cardstock. The patterned fabrics look like canvas and coordinate with the papers. Their Studio is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

C.S.I. Challenge

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo with you that I did for the C.S.I. challenge. What a fun challenge...so many neat inspirational elements to draw from to come up with a final project!

For my lo, I used 'the scheme' colors, sparkly/shiny things, a feather, stacked elements, music elements for the 'evidence' and the word 'balance' along with my journaling for the 'testimony'.

Zeus and Zoe mailer envelope!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a mailer envelope that I upcylcled into a sweet bird mailer using some of the papers and a key from one of the gorgeous Zeus and Zoes kits. For this project, I took a mailing env., that I received in the mail, added some paint and papers, put modeling paste on the key, did a little stamping, and voil`a, you have a sweet little mailer ready to give to someone special!

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Hi everyone!  It's that time again...the April 15th challenge at Another freaking scrappy challenge  is now up! For this challenge, we would like you to use the super easy sketch by Anne, the very sweet owner of AFSC and the following criteria: Seeing that April's showers bring May flowers - scrap about a rainfall, or storm. Perhaps the weather ruined your plans, or perhaps you were experiencing a drought and were relieved to see the heavens open.  For me, I scrapped about all the storms we were getting....my journaling reads...1st it was the closeness of the tornados, then it was the shake from the earthquake, then the threat of hurricane Irene. I was so rattled. I thank God it came only as wind and a mild rain.....

Zeus and Zoe Canvas and Easter projects!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a few projects that I did using one of the gorgeous Zeus and Zoe kits and embellishments. For Easter, I created two kinds of gift packages; One a bag, and the other a wrap. I also created a canvas with the vintage papers, a cigar wrapper, some buttons and a key. These kits are just so versatile....fun!

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge!

Today, I'd like to share the new challenge at AFSC! Yup, the Another Freaking Scrappy challenge is up and this time we would like you to scrap about a trick or prank that was either pulled on you, a friend, or that you pulled on someone else!! If you have difficulty with this, you could alternatively scrap about a surprise you experienced or that you prepared for someone else (surprise birthday party??). How fun is this! For me, I scrapped about how "I got my hubby"......just too sweet! Yup, love him to bits...so easy to prank him!
