Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share some mixed media projects that I made using The Paper Bakery mixed media kits. Wow! I must say, I had so much fun! My first project was done using this month's "Time of day" mixed media kit, and my second project, used mixed media from the "Time of day" kit and past mixed media kit mediums.
Here's my first:
Love the background on this one! Notice the arrows. I did this with an arrow template and modeling paste, included in the "Time of day" kit. The heart was made from a music sheet that I painted with twinkling red H2O's paint, from the kit. Love the way it has a soft sparkle to it. Here's a closeup:
Isn't the red gorgeous againt the pasted background!
For my second project, I took the second canvas, included in the "Time of day" kit, added yellow paint to it and then blended the red H2O's paint to give it an orange hue. Next, I painted on the arrow template and blended some colors from Gelatos, which were in previous mm kits to get my background.
For the coffee cup, I cut the shape out of the music sheet, included in the "Time of day" kit, and blended more colors from the gelatos and then outlined it with the Viva black paper pen, also included in the kit.
I finished it off by writing coffee on it with the same Viva paper pen.
If you're interested in playing with mixed media, I invite you to the Paper Bakery shop where you will find all kinds of kits and goodies. And now, Sarah has added those fun flair buttons to the shop! Love the buttons....such a great variety and so fun to use!
For some amazing DT inspiration, I invite you to our blog....you're going to love what you see!
As always, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs!
