Fun on the slide!

Down the slide, up again! Down the slide...and up again! My daughter used to put on her sweet little hat and play on the slide for hours. Did this lo of her, on the slide, for this weeks color combos galore challenge.

My first 'She art girl'

This is the first 'she art girl' that I've created after taking the 'She art workshop' by Christy, the owner of Scarlet Lime. If you haven't looked at her site you really must go take a peek....lots of cool stuff there. If you like the look of 'the she art girl' she is offering another class. Once upon a sketch - 2nd challenge

I love this site! Love Nadia's challenges....just really pushing me to journal on my lo's and I'm liking it! I was going to scrap a different pic for this challenge

and then I got a new scrapping mag. in the mail and started going through it when I came across this BG ad for their pp. Right away, I changed gears and scrapped their sweet girls swinging their bags...loved this fun, upbeat ad. I tried to keep the lo fun and upbeat like the girls...fun, fun, fun!

Orla Kiely

I saw this ad for Orla Kiely and instantly thought...I love the clothing in that ad...I just have to scrap this...and this emerged!

How many?

How many cups of coffee/tea are too many? That's the question I sometimes ask myself. Most days I don't even think about it, but sometimes, I just scrap or paint and drink one cup after the other...it's days like that, that I think to myself maybe I'm having too many cups. Did this lo of me for the Color Combos Galore weekly challenge. Loved these colors...loved the challenge!

TLC everyday

Yup, that's right tlc, that's what this little guy of mine needs, and gets, everyday. Did this lo of me and my little sweetie for the color room challenge this week. These were tough colors for me. I made the circles and pp behind the pic from a paper bag, stenciling, inking, and paint...fun, fun, fun.

Once upon a sketch April's challenge

Loved this challenge! Very rarely do I journal on my lo's. I don't know why...maybe I

can't fit it in, don't think my writing looks good, concerned I'll wreck the lo???? I don't really know why, so this challenge was great for me...just enough to get me thinking about journaling...just enough to push me to do it...and I like it!
