Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my first DT lo that I did for Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge site.
The challenge this time is a prompt: to scrap your birthplace and year – incorporating at least two things that were popular in culture that year as an embellishment (song title, historical event, movie, hero or heroine) – you can include baby photos instead of photos of your birthplace if you wish. Please include a link to another scrapbooking challenge website in your blog posting for this. If you are shy to scrap your year of birth, then you can try some hidden journaling.
For me, I grew up in a time where Sally, Dick, and Jane were popular, so I used that as part of my lo...fun!
For my link to another scrapbook challenge site I'd like to link Scrap for help. What a beautiful site! Scrap for a cause and help the invironment at the same time!
You have until the 14th of September at midnight to post your take on the challenge to be eligible for a $25.00 gift certificate prize to Scrapbookers.com for this month. You will have a second chance to enter a layout for this prize on the 15th of September during our sketch challenge for September.
For wonderful inspiration, please stop by and see what Anne, the lovely owner of this site, and the other DT members have come up with!
