Love the sketch and color challenges that this site has...fun! This is a lo of my sister's and I. I did this as another lo for my sister's book. Sodalicious Journal page

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a journal page that I did for the Sodalicious journal "I can" challenge. I've seen the challenge on a couple of blogs now and thought how fun that looks so I gave it a try. I really am enjoying doing journaling pages these days. I think it's the change in size that I really like, and it's a great way to capture subjects that you want to talk or create thing about....why not give it a try yourself.

Paper Dvizhnik Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the Paper Dvizhnik sketch challenge. I just loved this sketch the minute I saw it and thought I have to do this one!

My sister asked me to do a scrapbook for her, filling it with pics of the family that she gave to me. This is the first lo that I've done for her....yup, included in the family, is the career of truck driving. This sketch is so fab, that it can be used for anything...don't you agree! I hope she likes it!

Zeus and Zoe Color & tech challenge with options!

Hi everyone! Yippee! The new challenge is up at Zeus and Zoe! For the month of August I am hosting the challenge...yeah! So gals here it is........................

I have put together a color challenge and a technique with options. Yup, the options make sure that everyone can play!

Here's the pallette:

Your colors are: brown, white, yellow, green, and grey.

Your technique is: sewing.

Here's what I created:

Now here's your options:

Color option: If you don't like the color pallette, or have the color goodies to do it, we are going to let you grab a photo, that you really like, and do a project using the colors in the photo.

Technique option: If you don't have a sewing mach., or can't sew, we are going to let you draw your stitches using a marking pen of your choice.

Yup! You read this challenge correctly....how easy and fun is this!

There will be two winners!

Scrap for help challenge!

For me, I decided to do a journal page, using a copy of a picture that my dd had done of herself years ago. I was even lucky enough to have one of her old colored pencils to add to it...yeah!

It's a start!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share an 'Ale log" that I made using some of the wonderful goodies in my vintage style kit from Zeus and Zoe. While looking through all my goodies and deciding what I'd like to make, I came across this awesome 'brown ale' chipboard type label and decided to make an 'ale log' for hubby! Yup, he loves to sample different kinds of ale...but how do you keep all the tastes straight? Answer...an ale book. We will use this log to track the tastes, our likes, and samples using the labels...how fun is that. So this is our start...our log book....now to start the taste tests! Lol!

Don't you just love the bright colors of the ale label! Also from the kit is that wonderful advertising paper in the background.
