Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you a lo that I did for the Once upon a sketch challenge. This time the challenge has the theme 'a moment in time'. You have to journal about why your pictures are memorable. For this challenge I scrapped pictures of my son holding his new sister. She was just 2 hrs. old in these. For us her birth was very memorable because on my husband's side they have had generations of boys, no girls, until our sweet daughter was born! Time to celebrate!!!!!!!!
I love this site because it forces you to journal...something that I'm starting to do now that I have joined the site. If you want to take your scrapping a step further, you really must go check out this lovely site...Awesome site, DT and scrappers
alike!!! :)

ReplyDeleteLove this as usual Sandi! Is it digital? The way that photo is folded made me think so - unless maybe you have used very thin printing paper, as it seems to fold so easily. Either way it's lovely! Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteOoops I forgot to do my job & say "Thanks for Playing at Once Upon a Sketch!"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LO, Sandi, and very touching, too! I like your journaling very much! I'm sure your children will always love to read it! Good luck with the challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, I used regular printing paper which I stapled down so that it stays folded. Thank you for your lovely comment! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sandi

ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous. Your style is incredible. Love the pics and the colours and your whole theme. Well done. THANKS so much for playing along with us at Once Upon A..Sketch.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious moment! only 2 hrs old in the pics you say, ooooh she's tiiiny! Absolutely wonderful elements, spot on as always with your attention to the itty details! I journal on the back of my pages as I tend to write essays about how I felt, what I saw and what the people in the LO were doing/saying. The difficult bit for me is to put a short journalling on the front isntead ;)) xxoxox
