Thank you my heavenly father....

Hi everyone! My heart, my prayers, and my thoughts go out to all those effected by the hurricane Irene that just came through. At the same time I thank God that there was not more damage where we are. I thank God that by the time it got to us, it was a tropical storm...a very scary one at that. We have been through a lot lately...tornados, which took the life of someone that I worked with, then this week the earthquake, which thank God only felt like I was having vertigo, and the lastest stress of Irene...thank you God that it is not more then what it was.......BUT.....to all the people who it is more then this, to all the people who don't have power, or their house, or worse I ask that all my followers and people just stopping by, please pray for these people. Pray that God gives them peace and a spirit to rebuild their lifes!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hugs,
Sandi

  7. I can totally feel you Sandi, I lived in New York City for 8 years, part of the time on the Jersey shore as well as Jersey City by the Hudson, I have been following the news as I still have many friends and students around that area!

  10. I am so glad to hear that you are ok, even though it was a scary ordeal!
I was in the US over the period of Hurricane Irene, and watched the new reports each day showing very scary footage and the rising death toll.
Fortunately, I was in Arizona at the time, so I was only affected in that I wasn't able to get a flight back home until they re-opened the airports.
The increase in natural disasters is alarming! May you and your family be safe...
